Welcome to the Pacifican Retirement Home Funzone, where you will get to enjoy the fun little games of Bingo and Yahtzee. Both games are chance-based games but so is life so don’t hesitate to try your luck here!

The Bingo Zone!

Bingo is a popular game of chance, usually attributed to being played in retirement homes but enjoyers of the game swear by the excitement from the game. NPO is a perpetual retirement home so I hope everyone enjoys Bingo!

How will NPO Bingo work?

1. NPO Bingo will work a bit differently than traditional Bingo. NPO Bingo will have no money pot and will work in rounds of one card per round.
2. You receive one card per round. If you win that round, you get 1 point.
3. There will be 14 rounds throughout the week. The schedule for the rounds will be released in advance. Try to attend as many rounds as possible
4. The person with the most points at the end of the week will be the NPO Bingo Champion. They will get a permanent suite in the dungeon.

How to Play Bingo?

1)You will get a card with 25 squares on it.The columns are labeled from left to right with the letters: 'B', 'I', 'N', 'G', 'O'. With one exception (the center space is "free quack") the spaces in the card are assigned values as follows:

Each space in the 'B' column contains a number from 1 - 15. Each space in the 'I' column contains a number from 16 - 30. Each space in the 'N' column contains a number from 31 - 45. Each space in the 'G' column contains a number from 46 - 60. Each space in the 'O' column contains a number from 61 - 75. Furthermore, a number can appear only once on a single card. 2) A caller will call out a number at random, if you have that number on your card, you will cross it out. 3) When a player has a BINGO (5 in a row, column, or diagonal), he or she calls out BINGO. The player with the Bingo wins that round.

The schedule For Bingo will be released after the registration process is complete.

The Yahtzee Arena

Yahtzee is another versatile classic game of chance played with dice. Test your dice luck in Yahtzee here!

How will NPO Yahtzee work?

1. Depending on the number of participants, there might be groups made to allow people to play together.
2. The groups will be instructed to set up a game on Board Game Arena. (Instructions will be given by me) after the registration deadline.
3. The game will be played at https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=yatzy. You will need to make an account on Board Game Arena to be able to play.
4. The games will be played turn-based to allow flexibility for players.
5. The player with the highest score will be the NPO Yahtzee Champion!

How to Play Yahtzee?

Yahtzee is a classic dice game played with 5 dice. Each player's turn consists of rolling the dice up to 3 times in hope of making 1 of 13 categories. The game consists of 13 rounds. In each round, you roll the dice(all 5 or some of the 5) and then score the roll in one of 13 categories. You must score once in each category -- which means that towards the end of the game you may have to settle for scoring zero in some categories. The score is determined by a different rule for each category.
