Brutus joined the New Pacific Order in March of this year, and despite the upheaval that ensued in the months afterwards, stuck with the Order through it all. Brutus also heard the calls for immediate assistance within the Admissions department and Council, and decided to step into action. A lack of experience did not deter him, and he moved with every effort to push new boundaries and to help redefine what Admissions and Council could be. His dedication towards Admissions work was at times unparalleled, and it is hard to imagine what the Admissions department of this summer would have looked like without his presence. Simultaneously, Brutus has been renowned for his insightfulness and ingenuity; his ability to think on a problem, and then offer an informed perspective regardless of his own level of familiarity with the material is a rare quality, and one that can often go unnoticed.

Most members however, know Brutus for something beyond his governmental work; his approachability and hospitality. Many members, especially new ones, have often found a refreshing face to talk to in Brutus, something that is often hard to encapsulate in a community as large as the Order. His dedication towards helping newer members, and giving them advice and just plain being around for them has defined him as somewhat of a keystone for our community. If you were to talk to a number of different Pacificans, and ask them to name someone in the Order who they trust the most, Brutus would no doubt be at the very top for quite a number of them.
