Architect of Order awards for Eclipse

Eclipse has been a member of the Order since 2008. But like our other recipients, Eclipse's period of peak activity in the Order came in the twilight era of Cyber Nations. Eclipse joined Military Command as a Lieutenant in March 2017 before rising to Colonel and then his current role, General. In 2021, he was awarded with Pillar of Pacifica for his role owning management of trade circles; he has continued that task for 5 years since. Managing trade circles is the most thankless job in Cyber Nations: it requires coordinating large numbers of people, some of whom are slow to respond or follow orders and do not check in frequently. When managed well, people do not notice his hard work as they notice things running smoothly; when people delete, he is on the front-line of dealing with frustration or impatience. His role is critical to the economic management of the alliance and the growth of our nations.

This year, Eclipse also helped lead the Global Warming war. As part of this, he worked closely with the Imperial Officers and our allies to contact members, help get them targets, and ensure our enemies remained staggered so we could inflict maximum damage. Like trade circles, this is often difficult work because of members who are resistant to fight, not particularly responsive, or rusty on mechanics of war. Thanks to his tireless work, we were able to complete our war goals in less than 2 months, which was the shortest global war in Cyber Nations for well over a decade. For his tireless work in managing trade circles for years, and his prosecution of this year's war, I award Eclipse Architect of Order.
