Exemplary Pacifican awards for Knight

As Cyber Nations has declined and the number of active members has continued to diminish, the work rests on an ever-smaller number of people. Knight, like many of our other award recipients, first joined the Order in 2011 before becoming a member of departmental leadership in 2014 as a Recruiter and member of the Praetorian Guard, serving as Prefect in 2015-16. (One of his successful recruitment efforts was Marina). He returned to activity in 2023, where he has served tirelessly in processing applications, helping oversee the Academy, and doing Military Intelligence work while also serving in Military Command. Earlier this year, as war approached, he helped put together the War Bootcamp to help refresh members members in remembering how to fight in war. While real life took him away for part of the war, when available he helped Eclipse in assigning targets and ensuring we had targets. For his hard work in the Praetorian Guard and Military Command, I award Knight Exemplary Pacifican.

For the past few months the Order faced a series of challenges to our economic system: rebuilding the many nations who had been decimated in war without the help of our bank, running Tech Corps on a shoe string budget, managing the tsunami of cash entering the system when terms ended, and transitioning to Orion. Without fail, several individuals have worked tirelessly at the associate/director level to identify and resolve clogs in the tech/money pipelines and pitching in to cover analyst teams whenever a shortage of coverage arrived. These individuals also helped our 300+ nations navigate the transition to Orion such that tech and money would continue to flow.
